On November 2nd, as part of the “1st Sustainable Pediaios River Festival… Stream of life” under the leadership of the Office of the Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare, KyklOIKOdromio, with support from the Ergastiri Gatapou, organized an upcycling textiles creative workshop at the linear park next to the Skate Park of Lakatamia.
In October 2024, Elena Andreou (Environmental Specialist, KyklOIKOdromio), participated in a three-day training program (Train the trainers) in the framework of the project "CIRC -Circular City Through Educational Circular Economy Methods for Social Enterprises".
On the 29th of October 2024, the 1st Country Roundtable for the BuildEnrichedSkills Methodology was held, as part the European project « Academy for Transitional Skills in the Built Environment », funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
On 23/10/2024, the 31st Annual Pan-Cyprian Conference of the Pan Cyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC) was held in Nicosia. During the conference, Dr. Athina Georgiou Shippi, Head - Environmental Expert, presented examples of good practices implemented by KyklOIKOdromio to engage young people in governance.

The "Sustainable Mobility for the Future" short video challenge is an exciting opportunity for creative people, environmental enthusiasts of all ages, to present their ideas and solutions for the promotion of sustainable mobility in our city - Nicosia - through the creation of a short video.
We collect and donate used toys and books in order to strengthen environmental protection and promote social sensitivity.

The workshop "I make my own elephant" upgrading used clothes and fabrics and celebrating at the same time the International Elephant Day which has been established as the 12th of August, was organized by KyklOIKOdromio and Gatapou, achieved its objectives and left a very positive impression.
