Environmental education for children needs to start at school. The fate of the planet will be in their hands, so it is vital that they learn how to use resources wisely and do what they can in the fight against climate change from an early age. There are many activities that can be done at the playground or in a nearby park. Children can go outdoors to learn about plants, trees, rivers, birds and insects, but also about environmental problems such as pollution, gas emissions, energy consumption, recycling, good use of water and a number of other important aspects.

• Targeted information on priority areas as outlined in the European Circular Economy Action Plan
• Sustainable production and industrial policy
• Sustainable consumption
• Generation of less waste with greater value and use of secondary raw materials.
• Greenwashing
• Benefits from the application of the circular economy principles
