The other half (44,9%) mentioned forgetting to bring them as their main reasoning, with a small number of participants also noting wanting single use plastic bags for other uses (5,8%).

Some participants indicated that they just buy whatever is available in the store (25%) and a few indicated that they do not pay attention to the material bags are made of (10,3%), and some just buy the cheapest option (2,9%). Only 1,5% of participants indicated that they choose paper bags.
Lastly, results indicated that almost half of the participants believe that reusable plastic shopping bags should be banned (49,3%), whereas a quarter of participants indicated that they are not sure (26,1%) and the other quarter disagreed (24,6%).
