The donation of used toys is one of the activities of KyklOIKOdromio, since the beginning of its operation. This action is primarily done in the context of promoting reuse. In this way we contribute to the environment by saving resources and reducing waste production, giving these used toys a second life. At the same time, this action also makes a social contribution because of its charitable nature. Not only toys are given away, but also a large dose of happiness to children in need. Therefore, the donation of second-hand toys makes a positive contribution on an environmental and social levels.
Since March 2022, KyklOIKOdromio has donated over 1.000 used toys, books and board games to various charitable organizations such as the Nicosia Multipurpose Municipal Center, Strovolos Multipurpose Center, Lakatamia Multipurpose Centre, Pafos Multipurpose Centre, Cyprus Greens Citizens’ Cooperation, Community Council of Pyrga, Municipality of Lefkara, International Organization for Migration, Cyprus Autism Association, Pancyprian Organization of large families, Paralimni Youth, Voluntary Service Association "Avgerinos" and Red Cross. These toys were collected by the KyklOIKOdromio from donations from friends and supporters.
