This year KyklOIKOdromio took part in the Nicosia Book Fest, which was held on October 10 - 12 at Akropolis Park. KyklOIKOdromio participated on Sunday, October 12, with its Used Book Exchange initiative, in a celebration dedicated to books, reading, and community.
The activity featured a rich collection of used children’s books and novels, in both Greek, and English, all donated by friends and supporters of the organization. Through this initiative, KyklOIKOdromio actively promoted the principles of circular economy, giving hundreds of books the opportunity to continue inspiring new readers. Visitors embraced the action with enthusiasm, highlighting the joy of sharing and reusing.
As part of the festival’s outreach, a small book exchange event was also held on September 21 at the Mall of Cyprus, where KyklOIKOdromio attended and promoted the initiative and encouraged the public exchange books.
The participation in the Nicosia Book Fest demonstrated that opportunities for environmental awareness and reuse can be found everywhere, even in something as simple as exchanging a book. Such initiatives strengthen sustainability awareness and remind us that positive change begins with our everyday choices.
KyklOIKOdromio warmly thanks the Nicosia Book Fest for its support, hospitality and excellent collaboration.
