On Tuesday 17 September 2024, the KyklOIKOdromio participated in the Nicosia Municipality's action "Aglantzia In Motion" which took place on Kerynia Avenue. A section of the road was closed to vehicular traffic and turned into a fun place for children and adults as part of the European Mobility Week events.

Our team invited visitors, to contribute to the creation of a carton paper bus, using recyclable materials from our everyday life. With this activity, we promoted the use of public transport and encouraged the creative ideas of our young friends, showing how we can create something new and beautiful from alternative materials.

At the same time, some of our little friends participated in the "hidden treasure" game, exploring elements of sustainable urban mobility in our neighbourhood.

The team of KyklOIKOdromio offered participation gifts, such as books and children's fairytale book, which had been donated by our friends in previous activities, reinforcing the idea of giving what we don't need to those who may need it.

We thank the Nicosia Municipality for taking the initiative to create a social and environmental action to promote sustainable urban mobility in our city!
