On Friday 6/9/2024, members of the KyklOIKOdromio visited the Park of Asinou for educational environmental activities with children and adults. The visit took place in collaboration with the informal volunteer group of the Nikitari Community "ELPIDA" and the creative "women's café".
The children who participated in the environmental activities had the opportunity to play the game of hidden treasure and to get in touch with nature while enhancing their observational skills, as well as to use used fabrics and clothes to make decorative items for their personal space. As for the adults, they made bags from used t-shirts, as well as creative canvas projects from used fabrics to decorate their space.
The activities were generally aimed at improving the human-nature relationship, discovering the healing properties of nature through direct contact with its features, objects, materials and scents, using all the senses, so participants could understand the natural beauty that surrounds us.
