On the morning of Saturday, October 12, 2024, Parklane Hotel in Limassol invited the team of KyklOIKOdromio to the annual Explorers Kids Club event, where fun and educational environmental activities for children take place. KyklOIKOdromio organized an original and exciting game: the Eco Bingo Scavenger Hunt.

During this game, the children explored the hotel’s garden, searching for hidden recyclable materials in order to check them off on their BINGO cards. The aim of the game was to raise awareness about how many of daily materials end up as waste and to teach them the correct way to separate them for recycling.

Afterwards, using some of the materials collected during the Eco Bingo Scavenger Hunt, our little friends unleashed their creativity and crated artwork on two large canvases using recyclable materials collected. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activity, discovering how simple it was to collect waste and creating two impressive pieces of art that rivalled traditional paintings!

This activity enhanced the children's environmental awareness in a fun and creative way, giving them the opportunity to learn about circular economy practices through play and art.
