Elena Andreou

Environmental Specialist

Elena Andreou graduated from the Cyprus University of Technology in 2014 with a BSc in Environmental Sciences and Technology. She spent two semesters at the Technical University of Crete, Greece, as part of the Erasmus Program in the Department of Environmental Engineering. During a summer break, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Huelva, Spain, for the project "Modelling Climate Change and Soil Factors on the Growth of Mediterranean Forest Species."

During and between her studies, she participated in various ERASMUS+ KA1 projects, including youth exchanges, training courses, and seminars. She also worked with Elix NGO in Athens through the European Voluntary Service (EVS) in 2015. She pursued a Double Master’s in Environmental Science Soil, Water and Biodiversity with specializations in Soil Resources and Land Use at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna, and in Biodiversity and Ecosystems at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart. From June 2021 to August 2024, she worked as an environmental consultant for Aeoliki Ltd and La Solas Services Ltd, focusing on Environmental Impact Studies and Special Ecological Assessments.

She joined the KyklOIKOdromio team in September 2024 as Environmental Specialist.
