We are truly proud to announce that KyklOIKOdromio has received a Gold Award at the Cyprus Responsible Business Awards 2025, during a beautiful ceremony held at Lemon Park on October 16th, 2025, organized by Boussias Cyprus. These awards highlight the initiatives and collaborations of businesses that are committed to the principles of responsible entrepreneurship and sustainable development, contributing positively to society and the environment. The award was received by Dimitris Loizidis, member of the Board of Directors of KyklOIKOdromio.

Our Gold distinction was awarded for our initiative: “Towards a Sustainable Future: Actions for the Promotion of the Circular Economy” in the Environment category.

Since our establishment and up to 2024, KyklOIKOdromio has implemented more than 35 workshops across communities, schools, and both public and private organizations. Over 2,100 individuals have actively participated — including at least 1,500 children and teenagers.

• In the “Reduce – Reuse – Recycle” workshop, 11 individuals with a migrant background were trained in sustainable resource management practices.
• In the clothing upcycling workshop for individuals with autism, 10 participants experienced the joy of creativity and social inclusion.
• During the “Learning about Circular Economy and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals” program (2023–2024), 17 teachers and 630 students were trained, with the Strovolos Municipality school community warmly embracing the initiative.

Based on the positive results and the enthusiastic feedback, the program will continue through 2025–2026, introducing new themes that will include animal welfare, further expanding its connection with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The positive impact of these initiatives is evident — increased environmental awareness, the adoption of sustainable daily practices, and the creation of new collaborations with organizations and communities.
