KyklOIKOdromio participated in the informative day "Take it differently..., put waste in the cycle of life", which was organized by the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and the Environment on November 23, 2023 at the cultural centre "Melina Mercouri Theatre"
The workshop was held in the framework of the European Week of Waste Prevention, which for 2023 has been set for the week 18-26 November, with the theme "packaging" and the motto "Don't Get Lost in Packaging - Don't Get Wrapped up".
KyklOIKOdromio presented the implementation of the Circular Economy Actions for all, which includes the creation of the first pan-Cypriot online platform for the exchange, buying, selling, donating and repairing of used objects and the creation of the first lending Library of Things in Cyprus. In addition, in collaboration with the TexnaZo Creative Expression Workshop, we gave the children the opportunity to develop ecological awareness and through creative ways of recycling they made their own crafts. At the KyklOIKOdromio booth, there was the possibility to exchange and collect used books, clothes and toys.
