Stavros Stylianou

Stavros holds a degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and a master degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Southampton, focusing in applications for the environment and automation. He joined the Oceanographic Center at the University of Cyprus as a special scientist in the summer of 2009. In 2015 he became member of the Sustainable Energy Laboratory of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). In 2020 he registered his own brand, LemonHub.

His research interests include applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for environmental problem solving, weather forecasting models, forecasting and renewable energy applications. He has excellent knowledge in informatics, programming and data management with scientific publications on geographic data management, visualization technologies and decision support systems with applications to the environment, both land and sea.

He participated in many European and National funding projects and in many research missions. He is an expert in decision making and solution development related to software and technology.
