With great satisfaction, the small group of 13 volunteers of KyklOIKOdromio participated in the Let's Do It Cyprus campaign on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Kykloikodromio made a tiny contribution to the multi-level targeting of the campaign.  A lot of garbage, other waste, and PMD were collected from the National Forest Academy Park in Nicosia. In total were collected 4 large bags of mixed waste, 6 of PMD and several other waste not classified.

KyklOIKOdromio hopes that through the awakening and awareness of citizens regarding the protection of the environment the production of waste and especially that which ends up in the environment will be reduced year after year.  Awareness of the environmental impact of individual and social actions is essential for the preservation of our natural wealth and the prevention of pollution.

Let's do it! Cyprus is part of the Let's do it World! Campaign which is a global clean-up campaign that aims to rid the world's natural areas of litter. In recent years, Cyprus has been one of the countries with the highest litter production in Europe. The Let's Do It! campaign has been active in Cyprus since 2012, counting more than 210 thousand volunteers and freeing Cyprus from tons of litter lying on the streets, in cities and the natural environment of Cyprus! The "Let's Do It! Cyprus" Campaign is the biggest environmental action taking place on our island and aims to raise awareness and active public participation on issues related to the protection, conservation and sustainable management of the terrestrial and marine environment in Cyprus.
