The implementation of the circular economy actions in the Municipality of Strovolos launched with the Press Conference (18/9/2023) in the presence of the Environment Commissioner, representatives of Ministries, other NGOs and academic institutions.

KyklOIKOdromio has undertaken the implementation of three (3) actions that will be completed in the next months:

• Creation of an Exchange Platform for used objects (second hand) and promotion of reuse through repairs (under the U-SOLVE program, the Cyprus Institute).
• Establishment of the first Library of Things, which will operate in Cyprus and will be located in the Municipality of Strovolos (under the U-SOLVE program, the Cyprus Institute).
• Composting action in the 14 primary schools of the Municipality of Strovolos that aims at reducing food waste and sorting biological waste at source.
