Following the creation of the educational guide on the principles of the Circular Economy and the Sustainable Development Goals, with the support of the Municipality of Strovolos and the Environment Commissioner, the KyklOIKOdromio team created an informative flyer explaining the definition and principles of the circular economy for children.
The principles of the circular economy are explained in simple and clear terminology so that they can be understood by primary school students. It is also related to examples from everyday life in order to make the new knowledge more understandable and familiar to pupils.
The flyer contains the definition of circular economy, small diagrams comparing the linear and circular economy, the reasons why we should adopt circular economy practices in our lives, the '9R's' pyramid, and provides definitions and short explanations for each R accompanied with simple practical examples from everyday life.
