Alkis Ieromonachou

Alkis was born in Cyprus and graduated from the English School, Nicosia. He has a BSc in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Soon after his studies he entered the Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs and through the years he held posts in Egypt, the EU (Brussels), Russia as well as at the headquarters in Nicosia. After leaving the Ministry he participates part time in EU Election Observation Missions in developing countries around the world, largely because of his strong beliefs in democracy and human rights.
