Afroditi Magou

External Environmental Expert

Afroditi Magou graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2018, with a degree in Environmental Science. She holds a Master of Laws degree in Global Environment and Climate Change Law from the University of Edinburgh. Her career began in 2019, as a project consultant at Chrysalis Leap, focusing primarily on reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the shipping sector. In September 2020 she did her internship as an Environmental Consultant at Schneider Electric Budapest and in October 2020 she was hired for a part-time Research Fellow at the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK). From September 2021 to March 2022, she joined the Federation of Employers & Industrialists (OEB) as an Officer in the Department of Energy & Environment. Today she works with enthusiasm, as an expert on environmental issues at the KyklOIKOdromio.
